The bit has a ball joint that allows you to give clear signals to your horse without out rotating the bit in the horses mouth and causing the horse discomfort. The bit is stainless steel and the center joint has a bead of copper around it. The center joints are made of cold-rolled steel so it will rust and give your horse a familiar taste.
